# Manual Work Tracker

Automate with Khushbu · Version 1.0 · Example learning material

List the repetitive work before you decide what to automate.

## How to use this tracker

Record every recurring task for one representative week. For each task, note how often it runs, how long one run takes, who owns it and how often it fails or is redone. Write numbers you can compare later, not feelings like "busy".

## Column guide

- Task — the name people actually use for the work
- Trigger — what starts it (a message, a form, a date, a delivery)
- Frequency — how often it runs per day, week or month
- Handling time — minutes per run, observed rather than guessed
- Owner — who is responsible when it goes wrong
- Errors / rework — how often it fails or has to be redone
- Suitability — your first read: simplify, standardise, or review for automation

## Tracker table

| Task | Trigger | Frequency | Handling time | Owner | Errors / rework | Suitability |
| ---- | ------- | --------- | ------------- | ----- | --------------- | ----------- |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |

## Pick the first candidate

Choose the task with the highest frequency multiplied by handling time that also has clear, repeatable rules. A high-volume task full of judgment is a standardisation project, not an automation project.

Your first candidate: ______________________________

## Worked example / note

Fictional task: A service request arrives by email, is copied into a sheet, assigned to a person and chased until answered. Frequency 20/week, handling time 6 minutes, rework whenever the owner is missing.

## Usage

Adapt for personal or internal team use. Examples are fictional and are not verified client or learner results. This worksheet is not a certification, an audit or a guaranteed saving.
